Adorable?

What would you call this?

A white artificial Christmas tree maybe?

Not Riley.  We were walking around Target trying to get some sweet deals on clearance Halloween stuff and we turned the corner to find the Christmas stuff.  Riley got excited and said, "Look at the Adorable Christmas Tree!"  Adorable isn't a word he regularly uses so I made him repeat what he said.  Sure enough Adorable.

I figured out where it came from though.  In Monster's Inc. the Abominable Snowman wants to be called an Adorable Snowman.  Apparently these two things are related in Riley's mind.

Best Day of my Life

Yesterday I was talking to my sister.  We were talking about how a lot of people say their wedding day was the best day of their life.  My wedding day wasn't awful, but definitely not the best day of my life, not even close.  Don't get me wrong, I love being married to Andrew, but I am so happy we don't have to get married again, (I'm sure my siblings and parents are happy about it too).

I also pointed out the the days my kids were born were not very high on the list of best days of my life.  I love them a lot and I'm happy they are here, they were just long, stressful days.

"So what was the best day of your life?" my sister asked me.

I thought about it.  "Probably today."

We didn't do anything too exciting.  We went to the park with our friends and went to the library.  I am just really happy with where we, and what we are doing.  We have a great life.  We are so blessed and so lucky!

Also as a side note today is not the best day of my life my kids were a little whiney today, but tomorrow has the potential to be the best day of my life too.

Pigeon Forge, TN

Last week the kids and I went on a girls/cousin trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with the Briscoes.  This is the stuff Riley found so interesting that he asked me to take his picture in front of it.
