St. George & Bryce Canyon

Last week we went to St. George to see Grandma and Grandpa and their new house.
We visited the temple.

So much love for Tanner

We went swimming and to some splash pads.  Riley decided Tanner needed to join in on the fun.

We went to Zion National Park.  Riley loved the bus.

Then we went up to Bryce Canyon for the big Briscoe Family Reunion
Riley went on the zip line.  Just once because it was scary and he bonked his head.

We went on a hike

Riley played in the dirt for a lot of hours.

Park in Flagstaff on the way home.
It was a fun trip, but I don't want to make that drive again soon.

Kid Pictures

We are getting ready for a crazy week, I thought I would update the blog before these pictures get too old.
Riley and a Rocket Ship (and a granola bar)
Andrew found a bubble blower that actually works!  It's awesome!

Tanner can roll! He can only roll to the left so he runs into walls and couches, but he is on the move and happy.

1 year

Here's something that's crazy!  As of yesterday we have been in our house one year.  To put in perspective how big of a deal this is let me tell you that this is 3 months longer than I've gone without moving since I moved out of my parent's house when I was 18 (I guess if we are being fair it's the longest Andrew has gone without moving since he moved out of his parents house too-- but that was when he was 23).  And we have not plans on moving,  Yay for permanence!

Also something that's kind of crazy.  This 4th of July was our 4th one in Albuquerque, we have never left for the 4th, which seems like a common thing, we had a lot of friends gone this year.

We started the day with our ward's annual 4th of July Breakfast and Bike Parade (there's also a Fun Run but we pretend there isn't).  Riley loved riding his bike with all the big kids.

Then we went grocery shopping and took naps.  After naps we went to our friend's house for swimming, a BBQ, and Fireworks.  Our kids were a little tired at the end, but had a great time!
