Random Thoughts

Here are some random thoughts I've had lately

- Why do they make Flintstone vitamins that are not purple? The red and orange ones aren't as good.
- With me as Young Women Secretary and Andrew as Executive secretary we are the most secretary family in the ward.
- The only other time I've been secretary of something was way back in my Key Club days.  No one was running for secretary when it came time to vote for a new presidency, so I decided to run.
- A few nights ago I woke up to a little voice on the other side of the bed saying, "Excuse me, excuse me Dad, Dad excuse me, excuse me. . . ".  Riley pushed on Andrew until he rolled over to make enough room for him. He was very polite.
- Riley has two career aspirations:  Astronaut and Delivery man (UPS)
- I broke a mirror a few weeks ago, I know that means 7 years bad luck, or whatever, but Andrew broke a pickle jar last week and that was 17 hours of stinky house, which has been worse than my bad luck (so far).

Umm that's about all.

Also we fed the ducks 3 loaves of bread today

Alyna got Married- I didn't take any Pictures of it

So we went to Utah for Alyna's wedding.  Obviously I didn't get any pictures of that. . .  that's what the professionals are for.  We have lots of other pictures though.

We left at 2:30 in the morning and drove. Riley has always been a good traveler, especially with an iPad.  We didn't know how Tanner would be.  He was pretty good.  He slept until we got to Monticello (the first 6 hours) which was awesome.  He got tired of being in the car around Salt Lake, but he did good.

Riley played with these cars every day for at least an hour.

Ukulele playing.  Except he called it a violin and tried to put it on his shoulder.

Cousins!

First family picture with all four of us. . . kind of lame that it took 3 months.  Oh well,  we all look pretty good.

Tanner got blessed while we were there.  He's pretty handsome.

Riley and Tanner with 4 great-grandpas, 2 grandpas, and Dad.

7 Great grandparents, 4 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 little boys who didn't get naps and wanted to go home.

Riley got to touch a school bus.  My parent's neighbor has one, they weren't home.  So don't tell Riley that if they were home he would have been able to go inside.

Comparing the school buses

It was a fun trip, but we are happy to be home with our very nice weather.  Also happy we don't have to make another 12 hour drive anytime soon
