Tent Rocks

Yesterday was Andrew's Friday off and we decided to go on a hike.  We drove about an hour north to Tent Rocks, it was really pretty.  The extra weight of Riley in the backpack slowed Andrew down enough that I, with my pregnant belly, could almost keep up with him.

It's hard having to wait while your parents take a break

Riley got out of the backpack and walked for about 10 minutes, during which he tripped and hit his head on a rock

Riding on someone's back is hard work

After our hike we spent about an hour at Cochiti Lake, the best part was the floating rock Riley and Andrew found.  We spent about an hour at the lake, but Riley needed a nap, so he slept on the way home.

It was a fun adventure.

Backyard Camping

Two weekends ago Andrew and Riley went camping in the backyard.  I was only invited to the dinner and s'mores part.  That's okay because all three of us were not going to fit in our tiny tent.

It ended up being a really big lightning storm that night.  I made them come inside even though Riley was sleeping through it
