Day 30: Your Favorite Song
I am officially finishing this 30 day challenge. The last week or so has been kind of hard and I've been waiting and doing a few a day. I have a small problem though, I don't have a favorite song right now. And I don't think I have for a while, but this is a list of some of my past favorite songs:
Collide by Howie Day
Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls
Bruised by Jack's Mannequin
I Will Follow You into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie
Jude Law and a Semester Abroad by Brand New

Christmas 2010 |
I think I am mostly the same. Our camera is better this year than last. I have moved to a more humble residence. I have finished college. I have been on vacation to San Francisco, Oregon, and Washington. I am pretty sure that I can cook more things. I also think I might be braver and more open to new experiences.

30 Day Challenge: Day 27
Day 27: Why are you doing this 30 day challenge?
Well, I started this new blog and I ran out of things to say in about 3 posts. So I figured this would last a month and hopefully in that months time something eventful would happen for me to write about. Also Andrew didn't think I could do the whole thing and I am proving him wrong. Also who ever is reading this can get to know me a little better, if they want.

30 Day Challenge: Day 26
Day 26: What do you think of your friends?
That is a silly question, I like them. If I didn't like them I would go find some new friends that I liked, and those people I didn't like would not be my friends anymore. But I have lots of different groups of friends and I guess I like them all a little differently. Some are good for playing games with, some are good for going to sports with, some are good for a good laugh, and some are good for talking to. Hopefully we can find some good new ones when we move away next year.

30 Day Challenge: Day 25
Day 25: Something that you might find in your bag
Well the only bag that I carry around with me is my backpack. Now that school is over, it is empty. So there is nothing but crumbs in my bag. I might start carrying around another bag if I find it is necessary, but I am afraid to lose it. Also everything I really need fits nicely in my pockets. So at the current time I do not have a bag.

Dear Mom and Dad,
I love you. Thanks for taking good care of me and teaching me lots of things. Thanks for supporting me in all that I do.

30 Day Challenge: Day 23
Day 23: Something you crave a lot
Chinese food (but not buffet, those are always bad), chocolate, pretzels, smoothies, and milk shakes.

30 Day Challenge: Day 22
Day 22: What makes you different from everybody else
Well my face doesn't make me different from everybody else. People are always saying how I look like their friend's cousin, or some famous person. But Andrew said that I am hotter than everyone else, sorry all of you other people.
But things I think that make me different: I place little importance on a lot of things a lot of people find essential, and so far my life hasn't fallen apart. I like and understand most sports better than most girls. A lot of times it looks like I'm not doing anything, but I think and learn best quietly when it seems I'm just sitting there.

Cemetery
I used to walk ten minutes from my front door to the HPER building where all my classes were last semester. I always walked through the cemetery, sometimes I saw funny things. Like around Halloween, I took a picture but it didn't workout so great, so I created my own. There were neon ghosts. I don't know how I feel about ghost decorations in a cemetery. What's next zombies? But when I die you are all allowed to put creepy things on my headstone.
A few weeks ago I found a snowman. I think that's weird too

30 Day Challenge: Day 19
Day 19 Some nicknames that you have and why
Linds, that's Lindsay but shorter. Dee-s is what my brother used to call me because he couldn't say Lindsay. Ninny and Ninny-Now are what my sister called me because she couldn't say my name either. I have some friends that call me Binzo, but I don't really know why. Also Baggers, but that has been passed on to Brianna since I've been married. That's about all I can think of, but I am trying to think of a good code name for when I use my walkie talkie at work.

1. Even though my formal education is over (for the time being), continue to learn.
2. Try to live healthier - exercise more, eat better, sleep at normal times.
3. Have adventures

30 Day Challenge: Day 17
Day 17: Someone you would like to switch places with for a day
I want to switch places with Bill Gates, then I would give away all my money to me. Then we would switch back and I would be the richest person in the world!
But my life is pretty great, so I'm ok if I don't get to switch lives with Mr. Gates.

30 Day Challenge: Day 13
Day 13: A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
As a general rule I don't get offended to often. I had a roommate that tried to make me made, except I didn't care enough to get hurt or offended and I think that made her want to make me even more mad. I assume people aren't trying to make me mad, and I don't get upset too often and when I do it goes away fast. So I can't think of anyone who has hurt me recently.

30 Day Challenge: Day 12
Day 12: How you found out about blogger and why you have one
I feel like this is not very exciting but whatever. I get bored a lot when I am at home and Andrew is doing homework all day. He has tried to get me a hobby, but it's not going so well. Then he jokingly suggest that I make a blog--- so i made one. Also he said blogger was better than those other ones. But I will take suggestions for hobbies, I like reading and I've been doing that, but I can't read when it's loud and some people need to listen to music while they are doing homework.

30 Day Challenge: Day 10
Day 10: Songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, bored, hyped, mad
I don't really have any particular songs that I listen to when I am in any of these moods. I've been listening to Brand New and Jack's Mannequin a lot lately, also podcasts like Stuff You should Know.
That's all I have to say about that.
Now something I would much rather write about.
Our possessed printer. . . So I was trying to print a flier for the ward activity (because I had to get it approved from the student housing services to be put up on the door today) and the first copy printed great except I messed up and didn't put the date on it, so I had to print it again with the date. Except our printer started freaking out telling me that there was a paper jam and the paper tray was missing. Well guess what? The paper tray was exactly where it should be. And there was no possible place where a paper jam could have occurred unless it was the most serious paper jam in the whole world, like a whole sheet of paper scrunched into an inch of space. I skyped Andrew to help with the problem, but he was not all that helpful. He finally suggested I go find the other printer (I don't really think 2 people need 2 printers, but I guess in situations like this it's good to have) and just print from it. So I did that and took the paper.
When Andrew came home some of the papers I had been trying to print were sitting on the printer. He asked me what I had done to fix it. I didn't do anything our stupid possessed printer wasn't printing for me. Maybe it hates me.

30 Day Challenge: Day 9
Day 9: Something you are proud of from the last few days
Well I am changing from a sub at my job back to a regular leader at my old school. I'm pretty excited. I super love the kids at that school and I know how things run there.
Also I am done with my Biomechanics class. We just finished today, the final was this morning--even though it is no test week. The regular teacher is on sabbatical this semester so we had this random guy teaching us. He spent the first four weeks teaching us how to solve for the sides and angles of triangles, biggest waste of my life. The rest of the semester we did stuff that I learned in physics last year, so the rest of the semester was a waste also. I am proud that I finished this class without dying of boredom, lucky for me I had my sudoku book and my new phone to help.
Also I exercised yesterday.

30 Day Challenge: Day 8
Day 8: Short term goals for this month and why
1. Do well on my final tomorrow----- because it should be easy.
2. Study and do well on my 2 Monday finals, and Wednesday finals----- because I want to do well and passing would be a good thing.
3. Graduate from college, I am not exactly how I know when I've officially graduated, because there is no December commencement this year, so I will say that it is the second I walk out of my last test. ---- Because I've worked fairly hard and I have been going to college a long time.
4. Make sure Andrew gets enough food and sleep to survive until this semester is over---- because I love him and I don't want him to die.
5. Wrap and buy some more Christmas presents--- because it is almost Christmas
6. Find a job or something for me to do next semester in the mornings ---- because I don't like being bored.

30 Day Challenge: Day 6
Day 6: Your favorite super hero
I would have to say my favorite super hero is spiderman, probably because I apparently look like Mary Jane. Just today a kid at work was trying really really hard to decide if I was her, or if I had an identical sister. Also I know the most about spiderman than any other super hero because my brother was really into spiderman for about 5 years and that was all he could talk about.
But I also like this guy too....

30 Day Challenge: Day 2
Since it is the 2nd of December I just decided to write the second day today also, so there can be some uniformity in my life... or something
Day 2: The meaning behind your blog name
Well it's simple really, I am not all that tough-- or in other words wimpy. And the series of books-- diary of a wimpy kid is funny. I'm funny, kind of. Then one day Andrew jokingly suggested that I make a blog called blog of a wimpy girl. So I did. The End.

30 Day Challenge: Day 1
Ok so I'm doing this 30 day blog challenge. Maybe it will ge me more into a habit of blogging, but I see that it could potentially make me hate it, but I'll try hard.
Day 1: A Recent Picture and 15 Interesting Facts About Yourself
1. As a general rule I like talking to kids more than adults; they are honest and hilarious.
2. I am good at remembering names of people and birthdays (at least birth months)
3. I don't like my feet.
4. I am the only girl who loves linux---According to Andrew--- Even knowing what linux is is an interesting-ish fact-- Explanation? Well I have this super awesome new phone. It's a droid incredible, and linux is the operating system on my phone.
5. I am afraid of Farris wheels.
6. I love kids books, especially funny ones.
7. I don't want anything for Christmas except a small hand sanitizer with a holder from bath and body works so I can put it on my whistle for work.
8. I read an obituary in the newspaper about a week ago of someone and I knew where her headstone is. I walk through the cemetery on my way to school and look at the headstones and i just remembered her name on one where her husband is buried.
9. I went to Philadelphia on the 4th of July, walked past Independence Hall, and went to Jim's and got a cheesesteak.
10. I can jump a car, by myself (if I have both the cars nearby), in less than two minutes.
11. I taught someone how to read.
12. I am really good at free throws, I beat out my husband and six of his male relatives. My dad is very proud that I can make free throws so well.
13. I spent a night in jail and got food poisoning.
14. Today is the one year anniversary of the last car wreck I was in (not my fault, or my car I was driving).
15. I don't really writing with blue pens, even though blue is my favorite color.

Kids at Work
So, I work with kids. They are hilarious, I wish I could work everyday instead of just being a sub, but I get exposed to a lot of different funny kids.
Just the other day I had this conversation with a little boy
Boy: Are you new here?
Me: No, I'm just a sub.
Boy: Oh, Who are you subbing for?
Me: Nicole.
Boy: That's why it didn't smell like lotion in announcements today!
A few months ago--
Boy: Miss Lindsay, What is your last name?
Me: How about you guess?
Boy: Lindsay..... Lindsay.... Lindsay Binsey! Lindsay Binsey! Lindsay Binsey!
But one of the most hilarious ones ever was last Valentine's day--
Kid 1: Read this (conversation heart) to Miss Lindsay, she'll think you are really smart.
Kid 2: Ok, ( then he turns to me) I Love You (then he gasps- realizing what he said)
Me: (trying not to laugh) I'm sorry, but I'm too old for you-- and I'm married.
I love funny kids!

I am now a "blogger"
Ta da! I made a blog. Isn't everyone so proud of me. (You may clap and cheer if you want)
It's not that I didn't have the ability or time to create this thing, its that I'm not exactly the bloggiest person in the world. What is a bloggy person you ask? Well I will tell you. A bloggy person is someone who is super awesome at crafty stuff, they can make stuff out of other random stuff-- they also like decorating. A bloggy person also loves things like teaching their baby sign language. Also they think "The Color Code" and "Love Languages" are scripture. They like to do their hair. I, obviously am none of these. So I am attempting to break social blogging norms.
Oh, and I don't think you are a bad person if you are any of these bloggy things. I'm just not them.
