Adorable?

What would you call this?

A white artificial Christmas tree maybe?

Not Riley.  We were walking around Target trying to get some sweet deals on clearance Halloween stuff and we turned the corner to find the Christmas stuff.  Riley got excited and said, "Look at the Adorable Christmas Tree!"  Adorable isn't a word he regularly uses so I made him repeat what he said.  Sure enough Adorable.

I figured out where it came from though.  In Monster's Inc. the Abominable Snowman wants to be called an Adorable Snowman.  Apparently these two things are related in Riley's mind.

Best Day of my Life

Yesterday I was talking to my sister.  We were talking about how a lot of people say their wedding day was the best day of their life.  My wedding day wasn't awful, but definitely not the best day of my life, not even close.  Don't get me wrong, I love being married to Andrew, but I am so happy we don't have to get married again, (I'm sure my siblings and parents are happy about it too).

I also pointed out the the days my kids were born were not very high on the list of best days of my life.  I love them a lot and I'm happy they are here, they were just long, stressful days.

"So what was the best day of your life?" my sister asked me.

I thought about it.  "Probably today."

We didn't do anything too exciting.  We went to the park with our friends and went to the library.  I am just really happy with where we, and what we are doing.  We have a great life.  We are so blessed and so lucky!

Also as a side note today is not the best day of my life my kids were a little whiney today, but tomorrow has the potential to be the best day of my life too.

Pigeon Forge, TN

Last week the kids and I went on a girls/cousin trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with the Briscoes.  This is the stuff Riley found so interesting that he asked me to take his picture in front of it.

End of October Festivities

We went to Tucanos to eat.  Happy Early Birthday to me.  Riley's favorite food was the pasta and fruit --- Luckily we don't have to pay for him for a while.  Tanner loved everything we gave him, but he doesn't have very many teeth.
He liked playing with this thing though.

We went trick or treating at the zoo.

We carved pumpkins with friends the Monday before Halloween.  Mine is the ghost.  Andrew's wasn't finished when we lit them.

Andrew's minion.  It looked significantly better on Tuesday than Friday.  Both of our pumpkins were shriveled up by the time Halloween came.  We are blaming the dry weather.

Birthday Breakfast Donuts.  Incase anyone was wondering Samoa donuts are one of the tastiest things in the world.

The candles were placed by an engineer and a 2 year old.

The ward Truck or Treat was the night of my birthday.  We were a football team.

We had some friends over for Halloween and went trick or treating around our neighborhood, but I didn't take any pictures of that.  Also Riley screamed a lot that night.  He gets scared easily.  Mostly from the older kids scary costumes, but also from decorations in people's yards.

McCall's Pumpkin Patch

Two weekends ago we went to McCall's Pumpkin Patch.  We had a great time!

Spider Web

Bouncy Candy Corn

One of Riley's favorite parts, playing in the sand, pretending to be a garbage man

Bouncy Pumpkin

Riley may or may not have gone around to all the kids asking if he could dump their "trash" (corn) into his bucket.  He may or may not have a slight obsession with garbages, garbage trucks, and garbage men.
